I don’t know if there is a way that I can beat channelopathy, but I can fight it. I started Wegovy treatments on Saturday (two days ago.) The med seems to be settling down. Saturday was asleep. Sunday was nausea. Today I seem normalish. I pulled down some dietary ideas on using food to help regrow neurological damage. My thought is if I can find foods that will both promote weight-loss and nerve-health, I might get some benefit.
Not lying. I live in a subtle form of terror. Channelopathy can be a horror. The nerve endings don’t transmit impulses correctly. This means muscular systems, respiratory, digestive, cardio-vascular, vision and cognitive systems are affected. More can come, but those are the systems that I am having trouble with now. My kidneys and liver are fine. Thankfully, they don’t get their instructions from faulty nerves. They function is by design.
I’m going to fight my weight. Lose what I can. Fight skeletal muscle issues by manipulatives and action. Fight what I can with diet, rest and exercise. I’ve got to tell you that I am really enjoying eating tuna steaks, although I eat them well done — except for in sushi.
