Several months ago, I received my Dx of Episodic Ataxia type 9 from my neurologist. After nine years of identifying symptoms and getting all kinds of horror stories, the receipt of a diagnosis is a bit liberating and vindicating. The symptoms are all still there. We just have a better idea of what to expect.
I’ve wanted to reorganize my two servers for years now. The brain fog from either med brain or pain was preventative. There are a few hours of a few days out of the week I can focus enough to think cognitively enough to tackle these old servers. I’m finally doing it.
The servers are getting a good old nuke and pave. Complete with a reorganization and configuration of the RAID5 system.
Where will this take me? I don’t know.
I do know I couldn’t have survived the last decade without the help with so many people. Some were old friends, some new. Some are old new friends.
When you are a mess, you find the good in people. For that, I am eternally grateful.
